1. Use of the content

Recipes and articles are free to access and intended for personal, home use. You're welcome to cook them, print them and share the link.

Copying the texts or illustrations to publish them on another website, app, social network or printed publication without express permission is not allowed. If you'd like to reuse any content, write to the contact address: the answer is usually yes. Third-party photographs are governed by their own licenses, listed on the credits page.

2. Cooking tools

The converters, calculators, timer and cook mode are provided as they are and run entirely in your browser. Results are approximate and meant as a kitchen aid, not as precision measuring instruments.

The timer and cook mode depend on your device's browser and operating system, which may mute sound or turn off the screen on their own. They must not be relied on as your only alarm where a lapse could be dangerous, especially with open flames or hot oil.

3. Kitchen safety

Cooking involves fire, hot oil, appliances and knives. Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions for your appliances, never leave food cooking unattended and take extra care if there are children in the kitchen.

Follow safe cooking temperatures, especially for poultry, pork, eggs and fish, and basic cold-storage rules. The storage guidance in each recipe is approximate and assumes a fridge in good working order at 40 °F (4 °C) or below.

4. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising, which is always identified as such. Advertisers have no say in the recipes or recommendations. If sponsored content or affiliate links are ever published, this will be stated clearly and visibly on the page itself.

5. Availability and changes

The owner tries to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee it, as it depends on third parties and technical circumstances beyond their control. The owner may also modify, update or remove content and tools, as well as these terms, at any time.
