2. What data is processed and why

This website has no user accounts, sells nothing and asks for no data to read the recipes. The processing activities are as follows:

a) Questions by email or WhatsApp

If you write to the contact email address or WhatsApp number, the data you provide (name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message) is processed solely to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (article 6.1.f GDPR). Messages are kept for as long as the conversation lasts and, afterwards, for the period required to handle any possible liabilities.

The WhatsApp button on the contact page only opens the app with a suggested message: the website collects and stores nothing. If you choose that route, the conversation takes place through the WhatsApp service, which processes your data under its own privacy policy.

b) Audience measurement

Vercel Web Analytics is used to count how many visits each page receives. This tool uses no cookies, stores no persistent identifiers on your device and cannot identify individuals or track them across websites. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (article 6.1.f GDPR).

c) Advertising

The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, and in some cases to personalize them based on your previous browsing. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), collected through the consent notice shown when you arrive, which you can change or withdraw at any time.

3. What is NOT done with your data

• Personal data is not sold or rented to third parties.
• No visitor profiles are built.
• There are no user accounts, passwords or payment details.
• The cooking tools (converters, calculators, timer) and cook mode run entirely in your browser: what you type is never sent to a server or stored anywhere.

4. Recipients and international transfers

To operate, the site relies on the following providers, acting as processors or as independent controllers:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting and cookie-free audience measurement. It processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses, to serve the pages.
• Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — advertising through Google AdSense and advertising consent management.
• WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta) — only if you decide to write via WhatsApp, as independent controller of its messaging service.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area or may process data in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Providers' privacy policies: Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Vercel (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) and WhatsApp (whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea).

5. Retention periods

• Emails and WhatsApp messages: for as long as the conversation lasts and for the limitation period of any possible liabilities.
• Audience statistics: aggregated and anonymous, with no set period, as they cannot identify anyone.
• Advertising cookies: the period stated for each cookie in the Cookie policy.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent given, by writing to patrych@live.com and stating the right you wish to exercise. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

If you believe your data is not being processed lawfully, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), calle Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain, or with the supervisory authority of your country.

7. Minors

This site is not specifically aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If you find that a minor has provided personal data, write to the contact address to have it deleted.

8. Security

The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and applies security headers that restrict where content can be loaded from and prevent the website from being embedded in third-party pages.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal changes or changes in how the site works. The date of the last review appears at the top of the page.
