The recipe photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are in the public domain or licensed under Creative Commons Attribution. Here you'll find the author, the license and a link to the original file for each one.

How they're chosen

Only public domain, CC0 or CC BY images are used. Licenses with a “share alike” clause, licenses that forbid commercial use and licenses that don't allow modifications are deliberately excluded. Each license is checked automatically against Commons' own metadata when the photo is downloaded.
